Rod & Gun Club: Night Trap

Get ready for an unforgettable summer night at the Fort Bliss Rod and Gun Club Night Trap Shoot! Join us Saturday, July 18, as we light up the range from 7–10pm (registration opens at 6pm). Whether you're a first‑timer or a seasoned shooter, this nighttime trap competition brings excitement, friendly rivalry, and plenty of surprises.

Participants will shoot 3 rounds of trap and 1 round of handicap, with bonus points for special targets—so keep your eyes sharp as the sun goes down! Divisions are open for youth (ages 6–17) and adults (18+), and rental gear is available for anyone who needs it. Prizes will be awarded, bragging rights are up for grabs, and the event is open to the public!

Registration is required, either in advance or on the day of the event. Match begins at dusk—don’t miss out on one of Fort Bliss’ most exciting summer evenings!
