Is your child interested in indoor rock climbing?
If so, you've came to the right place. Outdoor Recreation is hosting its very first Youth Top Rope Competition!
Outdoor Recreation is hosting its first Youth Top Rope Competition for young indoor rock climbers. Competitors, divided into age groups (6-9, 10-12, and 13-15), will climb multiple color-coordinated routes, earning points for completing them without falls. The harder the route, the more points earned.
Parents are encouraged to take a belay class before the event to assist their children, as belay classes won't be available on the day. Volunteers will be on hand to help. Prizes will be awarded to the top three boys and girls in each age group.
