Mission Essential Fitness: Functional Fitness for the Tactical Athlete. High speed High Intensity Interval Training for unit PT. Participants go through a 30 exercise circuit with sixty second work and thirty second rest intervals that include body weight exercises, kettle bell exercises, TRX suspension strap exercises, and other equipment to properly prepare Soldiers for their daily duties. Mission Essential Fitness developed by the Fort Bliss Department of Human Performance has been at the forefront of the functional fitness movement for over fourteen years.
