Become a NRA-certied Firearms Instructor. Possession of basic rearm safety and shooting skills is a prerequisite for certication as an NRA instructor. Course is presented in two parts:basic instructor training, and discipline specic instructor training. Students will receive the NRA Trainers Guide, NRA Pistol Shooting Instructor Candidate Packet and NRA Basic Pistol Shooting course student packet.
Prior to the instructor training, candidates must complete a pre-course questionnaire and demonstrate their rearm background in pre-course assessment exercises.
