Fort Bliss Community Access Pass

Patrons not affiliated with Fort Bliss can now obtain a Community Access Pass at the Buffalo Soldier Visitor Control Center located at Bldg. 5400 it is open 24 hours a day. Visitors can also go to the Chaffee Visitor Control Center located at Bldg. 2616, Monday-Friday from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. 

The Community Access Pass allows the general public access to ceremonies, Freedom Crossing establishments and various Family and MWR activities on Fort Bliss.

This pass will allow visitors access through all Gate Access Control Points (ACP) between the hours of 6 a.m. and 10 p.m. daily. Passes are required for all passengers, ages 16 years and older. Passes may only be issued to U.S. Citizens, U.S. Nationals, and Lawful Permanent Residents.

 

You may choose from one of the following reasons for the visit: 

  • Community Access Pass (1 year)
  • Delivery Services (180 days)
  • Special Event Pass (3 days)
  • Day Pass (1 day)
    Note: if Day/Special Event pass is approved; you will be able to go directly to an ACP with the registered ID Card. For Delivery Services/CAP, requesters will need to complete registration at the kiosk. 
REQUIREMENTS TO OBTAIN COMMUNITY ACCESS PASS:

Visitors are required to provide a Real-ID compliant driver’s license or state-issued identification card, sign a letter of compliance/understanding, and undergo a criminal history background check.

REQUIREMENTS TO OBTAIN GUESS ACCESS PASS:

To obtain a Guest Access Pass, visitors can pre-register on the Visitor Management System website https://pass.aie.army.mil/?b=usa&i=fort_bliss&t=v or go directly to a kiosk located at either Buffalo Soldier or Chaffee Visitor Control Center.
