There are many facilities open to civilians on the installation.

  • Desert Strike Lanes Bowling center is the largest in the Army with 52 lanes of bowling, an arcade, full-service snack bar and lounge.
  • The Centennial Banquet and Conference center is the second largest banquet facility in El Paso and offers the most competitive pricing around.
  • The Rod and Gun Club is located off the main installation in Northeast El Paso offering 10 diverse ranges including Trap & Skeet, Five-stand sporting clays, pistol, rifle and black powder.

Accessing the installation is easy by obtaining a Recreation Pass at the following gates:

Chaffee Pass Office
