Pickleball: The Game That's Sweeping the Nation!
If you haven’t heard about pickleball yet, you’re in for a treat! What started as a quirky backyard game in the 1960s has exploded into one of the fastest-growing sports in the world. Whether you're an athlete or someone who just loves fun, pickleball has something for everyone.
So, what’s the big deal about pickleball?
It’s like tennis, but with a twist. Played with a paddle and a perforated plastic ball (think Wiffle ball), pickleball combines elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong, making it the ultimate mashup of all your favorite sports! The court is smaller than a tennis court, which means less running, but still tons of action. And the best part? It's incredibly easy to pick up—whether you’re a seasoned pro or a complete beginner!
Fort Bliss MWR is here for you and provides all the equipment needed to play! Visit one of our facilities listed below, so you and you friends can start playing today!
