Participants will identify and differentiate personality traits, how to use effective communication skills and develop strategies that help them build and maintain healthy personal and professional relationships.
Be Part of the Team
Participants will appraise relationships, interpret healthy relationships, and gain the knowledge of how to step outside of themselves to serve others through volunteerism as they become effective leaders in their personal and professional lives.
Leadership Development Concept Blocks
What Kind of Leader Are You?
Participants will identify their innate leadership approach, examine the alternative styles of others to incorporate various approaches into their personal and professional lives. Leaders will also gain skills to differentiate between the role of a coach and of a mentor, assess his/hers strengths/challenges and behavior of leaders in these roles as well as identify effective feedback techniques to incorporate into his/her roles as leaders.
Know Your Team
Participants will analyze the behaviors associated with Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs and create personal action plan that they will use to discuss ways leaders can build strong and cohesive teams that capitalize on positive attitude, understanding their role in the stages of team building, building team commitment while being aware of the characteristics of effective teams.
Communicating Through Conflict
Participants will explore the causes and benefits of conflict and through practical exercises, apply conflict management approaches and develop effective communication strategies to effectively communicate as leaders to teams or individuals.
Formal Functions Made Easy
Participants will learn how to function at a Military social event. We will be offering classes such as; Customs, Courtesies, Ceremonies & Traditions, Military Social Functions, Receiving lines, and much more.
