We care about our patrons. Safety is our top priority at MWR aquatics facilities.
Swim Safety
- Anyone 16 or younger must pass a swim test to use deep water; those who pass receive a wristband.
- Children 12 and under must be supervised by a parent/guardian (16+) at all times.
- Kids 5 and under, non-swimmers, and anyone in a flotation device must stay within arm's reach of an adult.
- A 15-minute break may be called at the end of each hour during recreational swim (signaled by one long whistle). Follow all lifeguard/staff directions.
Facility & Hygiene
- Shower before entering the pool.
- Non potty-trained children must wear swim diapers.
- Kindergarten age and up must use gender-appropriate restrooms or family changing rooms; diaper changes only in locker rooms/restrooms.
- No spitting, nose-blowing, vomiting, urinating, or defecating in the pool.
- Anyone with a respiratory, infectious, or communicable disease is not permitted in the pool.
- No one suspected of being under the influence of drugs or alcohol may enter.
- No eating, gum, glass containers, or tobacco use in the pool area — water only.
Attire & Equipment
- Only bathing suits, approved swim attire, and water shoes allowed — no street clothes. Only white, gray, or tan t-shirts permitted in the pool.
- Personal flotation devices must be U.S. Coast Guard approved. No inflatables except infant ring floats with attached seats; no water wings. All toys must be management-approved.
