What is the IRON ZERO program?

Iron Zero provides free, safe, reliable and confidential transportation for DOD Card holders who are unable to drive due to alcohol consumption or impairment. This mission prevents DWI/DUI (Driving While Intoxicated/Driving Under the Influence) incidents, reduces accident risks, and safeguards the health, safety, and readiness of the Fort Bliss community. Iron Zero operations will be conducted on a voluntary basis, primarily during high-risk periods such as weekends, holidays, and special events.

Iron Zero is available Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 2200 - 0400.

Why choose IRON ZERO?

Iron Zero provides you with a free ride home! On Fort Bliss, if you are caught driving while intoxicated, you will lose driving privileges on base for one year.

Get home safe without breaking the bank! This program is FREE & confidential. Every choice shapes tomorrow. Iron Zero gives you the power to get home safe, protect your career, and be the change. Readiness starts with YOU!
